From Bababloodo’s Studio

This is the studio of Bababloodo.
A small world where handmade creatures, fabric stories, and material kits are created.

Each piece begins with a drawing, then slowly becomes something you can hold, make, and bring into your own hands.

We design original bunny characters, craft kits, and small tools for making things by hand — all inspired by quiet stories and everyday imagination.

The Beginning of Bababloodo

Bababloodo began in 2009 as a pair of sleepy fabric rabbits in pajamas — made to be held, and to quietly accompany sleep. Over time, it evolved into a softer idea: a handmade bunny that could live beyond the bed, and travel into everyday life.

Why use plush fabric?

Traditional fabric dolls can be difficult for beginners because sewing needs to be very precise. Plush fabric is softer and more forgiving — it naturally hides uneven stitches and makes handmade work feel easier and more approachable.

Is it beginner friendly?

Yes. Even complete beginners can make one with a little patience. The process is slow and calming, and usually takes around six hours from start to finish.

What makes these bunnies special?

Each bunny is designed to become a small everyday companion — something handmade by you, carried with you, and filled with personal memories over time.

A quiet record of handmade moments during travel — sewing slowly in small spaces, carrying tiny companions from place to place, and collecting memories along the journey.

Stories from Makers

Bunny Notes

“ I made my bunny during a quiet weekend at home. At first I was nervous because I had never sewn anything before, but the plush fabric made the process feel much gentler than I expected. Now the bunny hangs on my bag and quietly follows me everywhere. ”

Jiza Sikuanza

“ I brought my bunny with me on a short trip and started taking photos together along the way. It slowly stopped feeling like a handmade project and became more like a small travel companion with its own personality. ”

Peter Monier

“ What surprised me most was how emotional the making process felt. Spending hours sewing by hand made me slow down and focus differently. Even the imperfect stitches became part of the memory, and that made the bunny feel truly personal. ”
